Our Latham Urgent Care Center provides COVID-19 antibody testing and COVID-19 diagnostic lab testing (including rapids) to those who meet CDC-based screening criteria, but you must have an Urgent Care encounter first and be seen by an Urgent Care provider.
Our Urgent Care can be used by anyone in the greater Capital Region for walk-in care. We follow particularly strict infection control procedures during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) pandemic due to the nature of care we provide.
Our office is safe to visit. We are open 7 days a week, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
COVID-19 PCR NAA Diagnostic Molecular Test (nasal swab) is available at Urgent Care Latham with results returned within 24 hours excluding weekends.
COVID-19 Antibody Test is available at Urgent Care Latham with results returned within 24 hours excluding weekends.
COVID-19 Rapid Test (nasal swab) is available at Urgent Care Latham. This test provides results in 15-20 minutes. Please note, depending on our clinician judgment, you may require a diagnostic PCR NAA test as well to confirm your results. We will collect this sample in our Latham Urgent Care Center and send to our lab partner to process and return results in 24 hours except weekends.
Our Urgent Care practitioners will provide you your test results once available. We offer testing for any reason that is clinically appropriate – including for symptomatic people, people who were exposed to COVID, people who require testing to return to work, and people who require testing to comply with NYS DOH travel guidelines.
Simply walk in for COVID-19 testing. No appointment is necessary and you don’t need a script/order from your physician.
Please note, Urgent Care is a medical practice, not a testing center.
We test patients for whom we assume complete responsibility for diagnostic assessment, testing, reporting and management. This entails an office visit, not just a COVID test, to enable us to fulfill our role in diagnosis and management. We need to evaluate why you need the test and we take responsibility for what you do after the test. We accept most major insurances. Your normal copayment, coninsurance, deductible applies for your visit. Uninsured patients who wish to establish with CCP are billed discounted rates for their clinical encounter.
Please note, masks and social distancing are required for all visits. This is for everyone’s safety – patients and staff. Your vaccination status does not change our infection control procedures at this time. We will provide you a mask if you do not have one upon arrival. We apologize if you experience longer than normal wait times. We will do our best to see you as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding.
